Mini Abalone Shell Hoop Earrings

Small and neat but brilliantly colourful, these lovely little circle earrings are made from Mexican abalone shell. See below for the details. They come with a classic off-centre hoop shape carefully set with real shell in iridescent shades of green and purple, in swirly patterns. Because it's a wholly natural material every pair is unique. The abalone shell in our earrings comes from the Mexican state of Baja California on the Pacific coast and is a by product of the abalone fishing industry. It does not come from California in the USA where populations of abalone have been overfished.
