The colours and patterns that appear naturally on the inside of the abalone shell, which looks like an enormous smooth oyster from the outside, are just magical. These glorious abalone shell hoop earrings celebrate the wonder of this amazing material with two curvy hoops, one inside the other. They're made from Alpaca metal alloy and have silver plated hooks, kind to your skin. Big, bold and very beautiful.
Please note all earrings and ear studs are not returnable due to hygiene reasons.

The abalone shell in our earrings comes from the Mexican state of Baja California on the Pacific coast and is a by product of the abalone fishing industry. It does not come from California in the USA where populations of abalone have been overfished.
